Midday musings
Well here are some more pictures of my little Prince Charming that people have been asking for... He is getting to be quite the tubby little thing, and weighed in at 5.7kg when I took him to the nurse on Tuesday...
We took him for his 2 month vaccination yesterday. Phil took the day off to help me - which was a good thing cause I wouldn't have been able to do it myself... I can understand why some people opt not to vaccinate, but we decided to go ahead personally as we would never forgive ourselves if he ever caught one of the evil diseases that they are designed to stop. So Daddy held him while Mummy sat doubled over in the chair with my eyes and ears covered praying as hard as I ever have for him to be all right, and not have any adverse reactions. And the poor little tyke screamed for each of the 3 needles, so obviously it wasn't painless. He was then upset and drowsy for the rest of the day and his little legs hurt. And I worried the whole time that it was doing something evil inside him. Made worse when I googled "vaccinations and side effects". He finally seemed to get back to his normaly happy self around 3am, so I figured I was then allowed to go to sleep. And he seems completely normal again today... All I can say is I'm not looking forward to the next lot at 4 months...
Here is a lovely picture taken the other night of Harrison with his Nana. And another with his Daddy all rugged up like an eskimo. We were off to the Kmart Toy Sale, and trying to get there before everyone else...
