Video update

Well under pain of small beatings I have been coerced into putting up some video of the little munchkin. This was taken today and a few nights ago.

First one is of him standing from a laying down position (with a bit of help for balance).

We are working on the walking he hasn't mastered it enough for the video yet. He is also learning to crawl more trouble with that as he cant get the arms to do what they are supposed to do as well as the legs. He has way more control of his legs at the moment. Lots more tummy time will build up the muscles in his back and arms so he can push himself up.


Now the milestones we have been going by are on the baby center website, which says he should be doing this around the 4 to 7 months and seeing as today he is 3 months and 3 weeks old and he has been doing the rolling and standing for a while now since the 4 of August.

Well must go. But one final picture for you be fore we go out. He is holding onto the flowers from Daffodil day I jot Jodi.

Sit down & Shut Up

Well Harry is 3 months & 2 weeks now, and weighing in at 7.5kg and 65 cms long, and I believe I'm the only peson with a 3 month old that is too big for 00 size clothes, we have already moved to 0's which is apparently for babies 6 + months... My little over achiever...

And lately he has become a little chatter box! He just sits there and gabbles all day long! Most particularly when he wakes up for his 11pm feed, just before Mummy goes to bed... He sits there and talks and talks and talks, even with Boobie in his mouth, he gabbles around it!

His latest new trick learnt just yesterday is independant sitting... He managed it for about 30 seconds yesterday before toppling over!! Mummy was soo excited she had to call Daddy at work to let him know.

Harry Loves.....

Well Harry's first love seems to be Boobie!! But seeing as he is a male and it equates to food, this we totally understand! And well food is Mummy's favourite hobby... So what chance did we have that this wouldn't be the case!! And well TV comes a close second!! He has taken to watching it then gooing and gahing excitedly to Mummy when something takes his fancy...

And I thought Mummy might be the third but I think I have since been bumped down the table!! & here is the proof.... My little man, as expected has already become a computer nerd!!!! See his fascination for the keyboard!!

Rock & ROLLLLLLLL

Well would you believe it's been 3 months since our little Harry popped out into this wide world (wish it was as easy as I made it sound there) and into all our hearts (well mine & Phils anyway, and well I'm sure there are some people who would agree with me that he is very good at tugging at those strings....)

He is still sleeping with Mummy, but I think that is still more me than him... Although I have taken to lying (yes I hear you chanting "liar liar pants on fire"), now if asked in public by new people you will hear me gush "why yes he sleeps right through.... yes all night, not a peep.... and yes of course he is in his own cot, as apparently co-sleeping was invented by the devil!! - now as you all know I actually think co-sleeping was an idea thought up by good guardian angels of sleep deprived mothers, and those angels need as many kudos as possible, but I'm afraid I'm sick up to my eyeballs of being told about the "rod for my own back" that I'm making and how I'm spoiling my child.... I figure he wont want to snuggle up with me forever, so I'll make the most of it now...

Well exciting news on the milestone front.... HE HAS LEARNT TO ROLLLLLLLLLLLL.... Yes I mean from back to front (which is a milestone for 5 - 6 month babies....) What's that?? Genius, you say!! Yes I completely agree... And this was on the 4/8 so technically he was still 2 months old at the time.... Well 13 weeks anyway... We have video footage but due to technical difficulties (or a lack of technical know how on my behalf) we cannot bring you tonights special preview... SO you will just have to wait I'm afraid... Now though, the problem is that every time I put him down he rolls straight onto his front, and after about 5 mins decides he doesn't like his front anymore, Daddy thinks it's frustration at not being able to crawl to the toys he wants... But I think sometimes it's just a case of cranky pants.... And it means I have less time to do things while he is down, like clean the bathrooms!!

Other than that he tried an exotic treat the other day.... FROGS LEGS... As you can see in the pictures below he has developed a sudden fetish for Mr Gribbet's (our car buddy) legs... But Mr Gribbet doesn't feel like he is being unfairly treated as Ms Pluck (the ducky), and Sergeant Shell (the turtle) gets the same treatment... (yes Mummy has a name for everyone)...

Well my little munchkin is all curled up in bed at the moment and I'm looking forward to curling up beside him, so I will update another day...
